Winner of Best Mixed Use Project Award under MIPIM 2011, located on the graceful curve of the Huangpu River in the North Bund of Shanghai, the site is home to a shipping community set in the context of a new 800m long waterfront park, for citizens and visitors to enjoy.

This maritime gateway welcomes cruise ships from around the world into the heart of Shanghai city. A parade of buildings form a Business and Entertainment District, 260,000sqm in area. At the centre of the chorus line is the ‘Shanghai Chandelier’ - a beguiling composition of public event spaces levitate to mark the entrance from the city into the open green parklands.

The project uses the latest in renewable energy – river water cooling technology cools the entire community during the summer months.
