Vanke Plaza Fuzhou

Fuzhou, China
Status: Completed

Bai Ma Park & River forms a wonderful green heart where the everyday life of Fuzhou city is played out. The vision for Vanke Plaza Fuzhou was to create a new neighbourhood of pedestrianised streets that open up and coalesce with the park, river and surrounding communities.

At 185,000sqm, this significant mixed use development is organised along a Canyon of Culture – ‘City Stage’ attractions programmed with local art exhibitions, music & dance performance, fashion shows and product launches.

A family of 8 residential towers, undulating in height from 100m up to 170m, rise from this new neighbourhood like pinstripes of light. The green of Bai Ma Park reappear as Sky Gardens crowning the tops of the towers. Vanke Plaza is intended to become a 21st Century Name Card for Fuzhou city, combining all essential ingredients in one place – Work, Living, Entertainment & Culture.
